Arvid Carlsson
M.D., Ph.D. Professor emeritus, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Göteborg, Sweden. AB. Nobel Prize Laureate 2000. President “Collegium Internationale Neuro Psychopharmacologicum” (CINP) 1980-82. Pioneer in psychopharmacology. Discovered dopamine as an independent brain transmitter, L-dopa treatment in Parkinson´s disease and the mode of action of antipsychotic drugs. Initiated the development of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors for depression and ACR16, a novel antipsychotic drug. Has received numerous national and international awards. Several hundred publications.

Claes-Göran Löfdahl

M.D., Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the University of Lund. Department of Respiratory Medicine and Allergology. Scientific activities in different aspects of Respiratory Diseases, as COPD and asthma. Ongoing studies in the areas of epidemiology, pathogenesis and treatment of COPD. Member of the executive committee of the European Respiratory Society (ERS) for many years, and chairman of the ERS School for 2 years.

Torgny H. Svensson

M.D., Ph.D. Professor of Pharmacology and Vice Chairman, Karolinska Institutet, Member of the Nobel Assembly, Vice President CINP 1998-present. Elected President 2004. President Scandinavian College of Neuro- Psychopharmacology. Member of the Scientific Advisory Boards of Carnegie Health Care Funds and the University of Cagliari, Center of Excellence "Neurobiology of the Addictions". Prof. Svensson has received several national and international awards and he has about 250 publications in major scientific journals, including Science and Nature.

Hans Wigzell
M.D.,Ph.D.,Professor of Immunology, emeritus. President of Karolinska Institute 1995-2003. Published some 600 articles about immunology and tumorbiology.
